Stratice Healthcare Names Jason Farmer President

Jason Farmer, the Senior Managing Director of WestBridge Investments and a co-Founder of Stratice Healthcare, has been named President.

While Senior Managing Director and founder of WestBridge Investments — a venture capital and private equity firm based in Indianapolis — Farmer is now devoting 100% of his time to Stratice Healthcare, officially joining the company’s executive management team to drive the company’s capitalization strategy and business development functions.

Farmer founded WestBridge and its predecessor investment firm approximately 10 years ago to focus on close collaborations with entrepreneurial teams to support the firm’s capital investments in start-up and early stage companies. WestBridge’s principals and operating partners join portfolio companies in various roles to help stimulate faster company organization and management team build-outs, successful capitalization strategies, effective product development plans and expanded service offerings, and aggressive market deployment strategies. Prior to heavily focusing on the successful evolution of Stratice Healthcare’s SaaS-based business model, Farmer also led the successful acquisition of multiple companies in the healthcare, financial services and energy sectors — holding various senior management, board seat and active advisory roles in each.

Farmer spent the first 15 years of his professional career primarily as a corporate finance lawyer, facilitating and structuring venture capital investments and private equity-backed business acquisitions, as well as accompanying commercial loan and mezzanine financing transactions – in total, exceeding $3B in aggregate transaction value. Prior to graduate school and his corporate finance, venture capital and private equity career, Farmer spent five years in the Silicon Valley working with a wide range of start-up and fast-growth companies within various software, technology, biotech and ecommerce sectors.

Farmer earned his MBA from the University of Louisville, his law degree from The Brandeis School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Pomona College in Claremont, California. Jason and Leanna reside in Westfield, Indiana with their two sons.
