Jason Farmer is CEO and the Co-Founder of Stratice Healthcare.
Farmer drives Stratice Healthcare’s strategic vision and the expansion of the Company’s e-Ordering solutions to support the digitalization of multiple areas of patient care burdened by a continuing lack of electronic connectivity. Working closely with Stratice’s senior management team to execute the Company’s accelerating national deployment of its e-Ordering solutions, Farmer manages larger EHR and other adopting system initial adoption discussions and integration transactions, along with partnering opportunities to expand Stratice’s service offerings for its network. Farmer also leads the Company’s growth capitalization strategy through ongoing private placements and strategic capital partnerships, while managing Stratice’s corporate development strategy and large industry partnering transactions.
Prior to joining Stratice’s executive management team, Farmer founded WestBridge Investments — a venture capital and private equity firm based in Indianapolis serving as its Senior Managing Director. WestBridge focuses on close collaborations with entrepreneurs and senior management teams driving the growth of the firm’s portfolio investments in start-up, early stage and acquired companies. WestBridge’s principals and operating partners often join its portfolio companies in various roles to help drive faster company organization, management team build-outs, formation of successful capitalization and growth strategies, and effective product development, service expansion and market development plans. In addition to investments in multiple start-up and early stage technology companies, Farmer led the successful acquisition of multiple companies in the healthcare, financial services and energy sectors while holding various executive management, board seat and active advisory roles.
Farmer spent the first 15 years of his professional career primarily as a corporate finance lawyer, facilitating and executing venture capital investments and private equity-backed business acquisitions, as well as accompanying commercial loan and mezzanine financing transactions – in total, exceeding $3B in aggregate transaction value. Prior to graduate school and his corporate finance and investment career, Farmer spent five years in the Silicon Valley working with a wide range of start-up and fast-growth companies within various software, technology, biotech and e-commerce sectors.
Farmer earned his MBA from the University of Louisville, his law degree from The Brandeis School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Pomona College in Claremont, California. Jason and his two sons reside in Westfield, Indiana.
